Framed Wool Appliqué Art
They look like they've been around for decades, which is just what the artists intended. Made in Minnesota by a husband-and-wife team, each is handcrafted from start to finish from hand-dyed wool fabric and wool yarn. All of the stitching is done by hand, and the frames are wide wood planks. Both pieces are left open (no glass or Plexiglas) so you can touch them if you want—your hand meeting the artist's hand. Each 15 1/2" x 23 3/4".
