Limited Edition Framed Babe Ruth Diptych
More than 50 years after his death, the Sultan of Swing is still the baseball legend everyone knows. Two classic photos capture historic moments in his career. Taken by an unknown photographer in late 1933, Babe Ruth Pitching (left) features Babe vs. the Red Sox (the Yankees won the game). Taken on June 13, 1948, by Nat Fein, The Babe Bows Out (right) is the only sports photograph to win the Pulitzer Prize. Dramatic and evocative, it shows a thin, frail Babe wearing his old uniform at Yankee Stadium ("The House that Ruth Built") for the last time. Limited to an edition of 714 (the total number of Ruth's career home runs), matted and framed in black wood under glass. 35" x 15". Certificate of authenticity included.
