This I Believe
We believe this is a stirring collection of American voices. Based on Edward R Murrow’s 1950s radio program, This I Believe returned on NPR in 2005 and continued to ask Americans—both famous and unknown—what they believe. The result is a stirring, funny and always provocative trip inside the minds and hearts of a diverse group of citizens whose beliefs, and the incredibly varied ways in which they choose to express them, reveal the American spirit at its best.
Contributors include John McCain, Isabel Allende, and Colin Powell, as well as Helen Keller and Jackie Robinson from the original series. Softcover book is 320 pages. Audio book: over 6 hours on 5 cd's.
