Many of these songs have been performed live on A Prairie Home Companion and used each week during the audience warm-up before the show goes out nationally. In each of the 16 songs, Garrison Keillor sings of home, love, friendship, family, faith or just plain fun.

Some of the songs including “Frankie and Johnny,” “My Minnesota Home,” and the sentimental classic “Goodbye to my Uncles” will also be familiar to fans of the A Prairie Home Companion movie.
